KAMAL NARAYAN SAHU
Mr. Kamal Narayan Sahu is a renowned and inspiring figure in India’s direct selling industry. At just 23 years old, on November 30, 2015, he founded his own direct selling company and became the youngest Managing Director and CEO in the country. Today, his journey serves as a source of motivation for lakhs of people across India.
Born in Tumgaon, a small village in the Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Kamal was exceptional in his studies from a young age. He completed his early education at Navjivan Mission School in his village, consistently topping his class. Along with academics, he displayed strong leadership skills in sports.
Due to financial hardships at home, Mr. Kamal started working at the age of just 10, distributing newspapers and earning ₹5 per day. Later, he joined his friends in selling bread to earn a little more and support his family.
After completing his 10th standard, Mr. Kamal left formal education and took full financial responsibility for his family at the age of 16. He worked tirelessly, acquiring new skills, and gradually began building his career.
Over time, his hard work began to pay off, and life started to improve. In 2015, he launched his own direct selling company. Although the initial years were challenging, Mr. Kamal never gave up. With persistence, his business grew, and under his leadership, many individuals achieved success, with some even becoming millionaires.
Today, his company has expanded nationwide, and Mr. Kamal Narayan Sahu is highly respected in the direct selling industry.
Mr. Kamal Narayan Sahu believes direct selling can turn anyone—regardless of education or ability—into a successful entrepreneur, if they have strong willpower and a desire to work hard. He sees it as a great career path for youth who want to start their own business but lack resources for a traditional startup.
To clear doubts and guide the youth, he wrote Direct Selling – Kya, Kyu Aur Kaise? a book that explains the concept in simple words and builds confidence in newcomers.
In March 2024, he also launched the K Narayan Skill Academy, now a leading platform in India for learning direct selling. Through this academy, he continues to train and support people from various backgrounds to grow and succeed.
